Workshop
Bill Hanson is a National Consulting Engineer for the US Education Sales Division of Apple, specializing in Professional Media Production solutions for K-12 and Higher Education markets. He devotes much of his time to demonstrating the Macintosh's capabilities as an advanced creative tool for electronic publishing, graphics, interactive authoring, digital audio-video production and internet delivery. He showcases solutions for curriculum delivery and creative expression, merging various forms of media, such as graphics, sound, animation and video. In his twenty-four years at Apple, Hanson has also consulted internationally in the education, corporate, pre-press, advertising, design and television/film industries. Broad format support along with the real-time performance of Final Cut Studio give filmmakers, production companies, and studios the tools they need to implement a complete solution for television and film projects. Editors can now manipulate high-definition video as easily as standard definition. This presentation will cover how to best understand and experience many of the world-class features and capabilities of this industry-leading post-production solution bundle. Final Cut Studio combines real-time editing, stunning motion graphics, soundtrack audio production, color grading and advanced DVD video authoring. These applications will be highlighted along with extensive, integrated workflows between each tool and real-world examples of professional media production. See the tools the professionals use. When an accident kills her fiancé, 25 year old Tamara Johnston quits a dream job to try to make sense of her new unwanted life.
